چکیده
The penetration of wind turbines and other power sources with strong uncertainty into the grid has increased in recent years. It brought significant technical challenges to systems’ operation. volatility intermittency increase risk insufficient transmission capacity lines. Therefore, traditional deterministic planning methods for grids are no longer fully applicable. On hand, frequent disasters years have posed a great threat system, especially grid. This requires design lines high standards, such as skeleton networks, withstand disasters. With aim address these problems, bi-level integrated network model is developed by considering power’s load guarantee under Chance constraints used characterize uncertainty, adopted cope Moreover, based on convex relaxation method, chance converted probabilistic inequalities be solved. proposed method simulated IEEE 118 bus obtained scheme further analyzed scenario tests. And result tests proves validity reasonableness method.

Return on Investment in Transmission Network Expansion Planning Considering Wind Generation Uncertainties Applying Non-dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm
Although significant private investment is absorbed in different sectors of power systems, transmission sector is still suffering from appropriate private investment. This is because of the pricing policies of transmission services, tariffs, and especially for investment risks. Investment risks are due to the uncertain behaviour of power systems that discourage investors to invest in the transm...
متن کاملOptimal Available Transfer Capability Assessment Strategy for Wind Integrated Transmission Systems Considering Uncertainty of Wind Power Probability Distribution
Wind power prediction research shows that it is difficult to accurately and effectively estimate the probability distribution (PD) of wind power. When only partial information of the wind power probability distribution function is available, an optimal available transfer capability (ATC) assessment strategy considering the uncertainty on the wind power probability distribution is proposed in th...
متن کاملDCGA Based-Transmission Network Expansion Planning Considering Network Adequacy
Transmission network expansion planning (TNEP) is an important component of power system planning that its task is to minimize the network construction and operational cost while satisfying the demand increasing, imposed technical and economic conditions. Up till now, various methods have been presented to solve the static transmission network expansion planning (STNEP) problem. But in all of t...
متن کاملTransmission Network Expansion Planning Considering Phase-Shifter Transformers
This paper presents a novel mathematical model for the transmission network expansion planning problem. Main idea is to consider phase-shifter (PS) transformers as a new element of the transmission system expansion together with other traditional components such as transmission lines and conventional transformers. In this way, PS are added in order to redistribute active power flows in the syst...
متن کاملFlexible Transmission Network Planning Considering the Impacts of Distributed Generation
The restructuring of global power industries has introduced a number of challenges, such as conflicting planning objectives and increasing uncertainties, to transmission network planners. During the recent past, a number of distributed generation technologies also reached a stage allowing large scale implementation, which will profoundly influence the power industry, as well as the practice of ...
